What is a fuser and why do you need it?
A fuser is a specialized power adapter designed to provide stable and safe power to your DMA card. Many DMA cards draw power via USB, but connecting directly to external ports can be unstable or draw unwanted attention. The fuser solves this problem: it connects directly to the USB header on your motherboard (inside the case), conditions the power, and delivers it to the DMA card in a way that makes the system recognize it as a “native” device.
